“A promise must never be broken.”
-alexander hamilton

What this quote means is that if you make a promise you should never break it no matter what. Even if you think it's not a big deal. The other person may think otherwise.so no matter what you have to keep the promise. You have to try the hardest to keep so that people can keep talking to you. You have a friend who says you promise to go the store with me and you say i promise but then you don't go. What do you think will happen in this situation? Your friends might get mad and not talk to you about and never wanna hang out with you. So always keep your promise no matter what happens. This is what i think this quote means and this is just my opinion.

Joseph Smith

Student success statement
What this quote means is that you have to make everything that sounds bad and make it bad. And everything that sounds good make it good. Always do something that is good never do something that is bad. Never lie because it will make you seem like a bad person. If you tell the truth people will have more trust in you. So for example if someone needs you to take care of something valuable they would trust you. Always have something good to say about you not something bad.

Spring Break

Spring Break

During my spring break I went to universal studios for the first time and it was really fun and i got on a lot of rides even though the lines were long. I went on The Simpsons Ride which was pretty cool. I went to my grandmas house and we were playing with the mud which was really fun although there were fire ants. I watched a movie call Free Born which was pretty scary. We also had to do a essay for lusk about climate change. Thats was pretty much all the homework we had and other little things from the other class. We had a water balloon fight with the neighbors and we got soaked and we throw them to our faces. On Saturday i played a basketball game against my cousins school. And on Sunday i played a football game in the morning with my cousins schools. And on Monday i played a soccer game against La galaxy not the real team. Out of all the games we won all of them which is pretty cool. I had practice with my cousin over break we had practice tuesday and wednesday.

VALENTINES DAY

VALENTINE’S DAY

Each year on February 14th, many people exchange cards, candy, gifts or flowers with their special “valentine.” The day of romance we call Valentine’s Day is named for a Christian martyr and dates back to the 5th century, but has origins in the Roman holiday Lupercalia. The history of Valentine’s Day–and the story of its patron saint–is shrouded in mystery. We do know that February has long been celebrated as a month of romance, and that St. Valentine’s Day, as we know it today, contains vestiges of both Christian and ancient Roman tradition. But who was Saint Valentine, and how did he become associated with this ancient rite?Other stories suggest that Valentine may have been killed for attempting to help Christians escape harsh Roman prisons, where they were often beaten and tortured. According to one legend, an imprisoned Valentine actually sent the first “valentine” greeting himself after he fell in love with a young girl–possibly his jailor’s daughter–who visited him during his confinement. Before his death, it is alleged that he wrote her a letter signed “From your Valentine,” an expression that is still in use today. Although the truth behind the Valentine legends is murky, the stories all emphasize his appeal as a sympathetic, heroic and–most importantly–romantic figure. By the Middle Ages, perhaps thanks to this reputation, Valentine would become one of the most popular saints in England and France. In addition to the United States, Valentine’s Day is celebrated in Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, France and Australia. In Great Britain, Valentine’s Day began to be popularly celebrated around the 17th century. By the middle of the 18th, it was common for friends and lovers of all social classes to exchange small tokens of affection or handwritten notes, and by 1900 printed cards began to replace written letters due to improvements in printing technology. Ready-made cards were an easy way for people to express their emotions in a time when direct expression of one’s feelings was discouraged. Cheaper postage rates also contributed to an increase in the popularity of sending Valentine’s Day greetings.
