What this quote means is that if you work hard everything will pay off and you will have a good life.If you play a sport and work hard and go to practice all  the time you may move up to varsity.Or if you are in varsity you may become the team captain and get medals and awards for all your hard work.

What this quote means is that even if you are basketball player you are still a human being.No matter what happens you are still gonna be a person and being a person is more important. John Wooden was a coach and a basketball player and he was successful at both. It it is nice that other people would choose his team to win like the judges. Some people believe that when you do something  it will come back to you. If bad then bad will come to back to you. If good  then good will come back to you.When life gives you something good take it and be good and always choose the right. Never choose the wrong if someone gives you something wrong dont take it. Never choose the wrong always choose the right.
