Duties and Responsibilities:They are responsible for surgical and medical treatments of the ear,nose, and throat,as well as the related head and neck areas.Specialized skills of otolaryngologists include managing disorders of the upper pharynx and oral cavity, larynx (voice box), ears, nose and nasal passage, and face and neck. Almost all ENT specialists regularly handle cases like nosebleeds, adenoidectomies, infected mastoids, tonsillectomies, and sinusitis.
Salary:$205,000 per year
Education:At least five years of surgical residency
Demand for this profession:While some ear,nose, and throat specialist start in private practice, others take jobs in hospitals and clinics. College of otolaryngology and professional organization can provide information regarding suitable job opportunities
No I would not like to be one because  people can transfer their infection to you . Some can just have really dirty ears.They can also just be sick because the ear,throat,nose are all connected so if you have a throat infection it can go to your ears and get a ear infection. Or if you have any other thing you may get it
